THE CURRENT HIGH BID WAS $23,152.500. THE  UPSET BID PERIOD WILL END ON APRIL 23, 2018 AT 5:00 PM. IT CAN BE RAISED FOR A PERIOD OF (10) DAYS BY 5%.  THE BID MUST BE RAISED AT THE PASQUOTANK COUNTY CLERKS OFFICE. FILE SP-17-104

On October 16, 2017 we conducted a foreclosure sale of a house and lot located at 804 Roanoke Avenue near downtown Elizabeth City and the college. This auction was one of (5) separate foreclosure auctions that were held on that date. The Buyer of that property was unable to close on the property and the Clerk has ordered the property to be RE-SOLD. The new FORECLOSURE AUCTION will be held on March 20, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Pasquotank County Courthouse in Elizabeth City, NC.

This is a nice single story house located in an area that has had some redevelopment and is similar to the surrounding properties. The house is currently vacant and appears to be in good overall condition. This would make a great rental property or starter home.

A 5% deposit or $750.00 deposit, WHICHEVER IS GREATER, is required at time of sale. The sale is subject to all North Carolina Foreclosure General Statutes including a “(10) DAY UPSET BID PERIOD”, meaning that the last and final bid at the auction is recorded with the Clerk of Court for the county that the property is located in and held open. Anyone can contact the Clerk’s office and raise the bid during the raise period. All raises made after the close of the auction must be of at least 5% of previous recorded bid and must be made through the Clerk’s office.
