    This auction is a United States Federal Bankruptcy auction of a 75+/- acre property that includes a very nice large brick home on the South River, multiple barns, a river cabin, and more just south of Roseboro, NC in Sampson County. The auction will be held live on location at 5056 Elizabethtown Hwy (HWY 242) in Roseboro, NC on  Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 10:00 am.

    This large 75+ acre farm has approximately 23 acres of cleared pasture/farmland with the balance being wooded. The property has nearly 1 mile of frontage on the South River and both the house and the remote cabin are waterfront. The property also has approximately 1,000' of road frontage on the west side of Elizabethtown Hwy. A small portion of this farm, approximately 5 acres is located on the opposite side of the road from the house. This portion of the property has several outbuildings and shelters on it along with having an additional 400' or so of road frontage.

    TERMS – This sale is being sold for the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court. The property is being sold “FREE & CLEAR” of all liens, or with liens satisfied at closing. The property is being sold “AS IS, WHERE IS”. The property is being sold with taxes prorated as of day of closing, meaning the current year taxes will be split between the Buyer and the Seller based on the closing date; all prior years taxes will be paid by the Seller. A 10% deposit is required by the last and highest bidder at the time of the auction. The remaining 90% will be due at closing. The sale is subject to Court confirmation.
