    This auction is of (2) contiguous parcels of land that are being sold together. The properties include a commercial "store" property and the adjacent "house" property both of which are located on Hwy 55 in Fort Barnwell.

    PARCEL 1 - STORE - 9400 W NC HWY 55 - Parcel 3-030-011

    This is a 0.85+/- acre corner lot with a store, old wood house, and mobile home lot located on the corner of NC HWY 55 and Biddle Road. The masonry store (formerly a grocery and general merchandise store) is located on the corner and appears to be in fair overall condition. The entire front of the property is paved without curbing making access from either road easy. There is an older wood frame house directly behind the store (no real value) and then and additional area that was recently used as a mobile home lot. The current tax value of this parcel is $107,760.00.

    This is a 0.72+/- acre residential lot with a large brick home located adjacent to the parcel above. Tax records indicate that this is a 2,144 square foot home with 3 bedrooms. The very front of the property is paved and was used for parking for the store property. The house appears to be in fair condition with some improvements needed before moving in. The current tax value of this parcel is $74,120.00.
