    This is a United States Federal Bankruptcy auction of a beautiful (5) bedroom 3 1/2 bath 3-story oceanfront home in a nice oceanfront community located at 4336 Island Drive in North Topsail Beach, NC. 

    The final bid for this property was $437,500.00. There is NO UPSET OR BID RAISE PERIOD FOR THIS AUCTION.

    *This house sustained damage during the 2018 hurricane and has not been repaired. 

    Exterior damage includes minor visible roof damage, some vinyl siding missing, porch railings and columns damaged, walkway and beach walk-over missing, landing and stairs from second floor to walkover damaged/missing, erosin of dune between home and beach, damage to ground level deck and outdoor shower area.

    Interior damage was caused when third floor doors to porch were breached causing water damage to ceilings on the two lower floors below the doors. there is some mold/mildew damage on the rear interior wall of the ground level floor in both bedrooms, laundry, and first floor bath on the oceanside walls. The power is on and the HVAC system is running to keep the moisture levels and air quality as good as possible. Some minor cleanup was done immediately following the storm but no repairs made.

    The pictures below show both the interior and exterior visible damage. However, there could be unforseen hidden damage. The property is available for viewing and inspection prior to auction date. We are selling this property "as is, where is" with the damage. The Buyer must inspect the property prior to bidding and do any and all research they deem neccesary.

    TERMS – This sale is being sold for the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court Trustee. The property is being sold “FREE & CLEAR” of all liens, or with liens satisfied at closing. The property is being sold “AS IS, WHERE IS”. The property is being sold with taxes prorated as of day of closing, meaning the current year taxes will be split between the Buyer and the Seller based on the closing date; all prior years taxes will be paid by the Seller.
