    This is a US Federal Bankruptcy auction of a very large extrusion/molding manufacturer located in Edenton, NC. The facility specialized in the manufacturing of PVC components mostly for the fencing industry. Included in this auction is all of the equipment for several entire production lines including multiple extrusion machines, forming tanks, pullers, cutt-off saws, and drop bins. We are also selling the support equipment including the drying storage bins, grinders, saws, shop equipment, tons of repair parts, tooling & dies, etc. that you would expect from this very large manufacturing facility. In addition to the in-production equipment there is an extensive amount of "out-of sevice" equipment ideal for industry parts and salvage metals.

    Some items are marked by us as "out-of-service". This means that these machines are not set-up in a production line. They may need repairs or may simply be not in use. The majority of the equipment is set-up in lines as it was running at shutdown. Being a US Federal Bankruptcy we have no information as to any equipment conditions. A pre-auction inspection date will be set between now and the actual auction date.

    TERMS – This auction is a “FORECLOSURE” auction and is subject to all North Carolina General Foreclosure Statutes. The property is being sold subject to all matters of tax, title, and survey.  A 5% deposit or $750.00 deposit, WHICHEVER IS GREATER, is required at time of sale. The sale is subject to all North Carolina Foreclosure General Statutes including a “(10) DAY UPSET BID PERIOD”, meaning that the last and final bid at the auction is recorded with the Clerk of Court for the county that the property is located in and held open. Anyone can contact the Clerk’s office and raise the bid during the raise period. All raises made after the close of the auction must be of at least 5% of previous recorded bid and must be made through the Clerk’s office. Each time the bid is raised, the (10) day “upset bid period” starts over. This process continues until there have been no raises. At that time, the file is sent to the Clerk for the confirmation process. Once confirmed, the high bidder will have (30) days to close on the property.
